I am an intermediate player also that prefers Head racquets. There are so many good racquets out right now. The best thing to do is demo some racquets. www.racuetballwarehouse.com has a demo program where you can demo racquets for a small amount and not purchase them.

Now I personally play with a Head Liquidmetal Fire 170. This racquet is the same as the 2006 Liquidmetal 170 but just a different paint job for Big 5 sports. You can buy them on EBAY for around 45 bucks and I will tell you it is the best bang for the buck.

It you want to spend a little for the Extreme 170 is an awesome racquet for about 100-120

or if you want the best Head racquet out, It is the Meanstreak. I played with this new racquet last week and it is awesome, but I still think my liquidmetal is the best for the price.

PS a good website for racquetball talk it www.meetandplay.com

Good Luck
