What's your best advice for studying for exams?

I have semester exams coming up pretty soon and I've got a bunch of stuff to cram for. What's your best studying advice and any methods/places you like to use when studying for a big test?What's your best advice for studying for exams?
One thing that i have always done that helps is typing up my notes from class. This helps me review the concepts I learned in class, and gives me time to look up anything that i did not understand, and add it to my notes for future reference. Also, writing something out by hand or typing, i have found to to help remember things. Something about seeing the words helps.

As far as places go. A quiet place is always the best, but i know some people like to listen to music... when memorizing, quiet places help.. but when i want to be creative and write i like to listen to some light music.What's your best advice for studying for exams?
Study in a place with no distractions, like in a library. My method was to commit to totally understand the subject matter. I would say to myself that I will not quit until I understood it all. Repetition of key statements helped me out a lot also. Read things over and over and over with the intent of 'getting it' . Be positive and say to yourself that if anyone else could get a great grade on the exams so could you.
i have a hard time studying because i get distracted easily. look for a quiet place to study and maybe listen to music so u dont get bored. also writing things down multiple time helps u remember them. a good place to study would probably be a park or somewhere outside and peaceful. good luck w ur exams!
Um, 1. Get Rest

2. Don't Stress

3. Eat Breakfast

4. Check over your material you've been studying, and take some notes to sum it all up, think of any numonic devices to help you remember the tuff stuff. ( e.x. - songs, short sayings, rhymes, storys, anything to help you remember )
what i do is divide the number of chapters by the number of days before the exam so you dont freak yourself out by doing all of it the day before the exam. ex: read ch. 2 on monday, do ch. review questions tuesday etc.

also make it fun, have friends over and start a study group!

i just sit on my bed and read hard, it your exams are pretty soon then i wouldnt give myself breaks

if not, give yourself like 15-30mins breaks, have something to eat, go on the internet or something then continue
* Read over your notes

* Try to make questions out of things %26amp; answer them

* On the exam. Do what you kno first then do things you might kno then do things you dont kno last. I'm pretty sure it will help you.
