I read various articles about the job interview tips. Many authors suggest to give clear example during an interview.
I did just that, and I felt like I bored the interviewers to death. Please advice. Thank you
Sorry, English is my second language. How do you when to give example and not during interview? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
I took some outplacement training the last time I was downsized and they recommended you work up a ';60 Second Commercial'; about yourself. It should include your experience, education and what you would bring to their company. Memorize it, and practice until it sounds natural.
You can also practice answers if they ask you, ';What would you do in X situation?'; Be clear and keep it short.
Another tip: many interviewers ask, ';Tell me about yourself.'; This leaves you open to ramble and bore them. The proper response is, ';What would you like to know?'; Then the interviewer will ask a more specific question about your experience, etc.
Hope this helps! Good luck! How do you when to give example and not during interview? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
Hope every time you go into an interview you are on a learning mission. You will eventually get the job you want but it takes time. Do not get disheartened.
Finding the right job is worth the investment of time and energy.
Good luck
