What is the best advice you've heard for getting into a top-10 law school?

If you know something they don't tell you in the books...

P.S. Stanford, U Colorado, or other?

I know it's a weird and undetailed question. What is the best advice you've heard for getting into a top-10 law school?
No, there is no trick about getting into any top tier law schools: they require very high LSAT scores and high GPAs. They are ALL about boosting their reputation and raw scores. You need to be an amazing writer and have to have dedication. Good luck!

Edit- epi- Judges do not allow interns that are not in law school. Clerks are usually directly out of law school and on the VERY top of their law school. Unbeknownst to many, being a clerk is very hard and unusually boring. What is the best advice you've heard for getting into a top-10 law school?
On top of what the last guy said, do some internships while still an undergrad and try as hard as you can to work as a clerk or intern for a judge. This is great for law school apps. Volunteering for a non-profit legal aid organization would also be helpful. Good luck.
