Whatever the advice, whatever the content, use your spellchecker, or better still, get someone to proofread your efforts. ';Dependant'; refers, for example, to someone who relies on others; ';dependent'; is the correct usage in your question. I'm not being pedantic; I'm merely illustrating the importance you need to attach to all aspects of your application.

Have you thought about showing it to your line manage for feedback? They should know exactly what is wanted for the job.
